Jeannelle Chaperon

Meet our founder, Jeannelle Chaperon.
She is a wife, mother of 2 girls, raised in Queens and currently residing in Long Island. After graduating with Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2005, Jeannelle began her work in the pediatric field. During those 10 years her pediatric experience encompassed general pediatrics, adolescent medicine, pediatric emergency, home care and school nursing.

In the midst of working as an RN, her passion to be a trusted advisor and support to her patients fostered her desire to pursue a Masters of Science in Midwifery, working as a midwife for 7 years in the Bronx. Serving the underprivileged population and being an advocate for her patients, listening to them, offering advice, reassuring them when needed is her lifelong mission and love. In her role as a midwife, she offers holistic care to our patients in GYN, Antenatal, Intrapartum, and Postpartum.

As a strong supporter of breastfeeding, she is in the process of becoming an International Board Lactation Consultant. An essential part of her vision is ensuring women are educated and empowered to choose how they are cared for and management of their care physically, psychologically and emotionally.

Natasha Cupidore

Meet Natasha Cupidore – wife, daughter, sister and aunt.
Caring for others is not just a career, but for Natasha it is a lifestyle. From a very young age she knew and began her journey as a Registered Nurse. With over 20 years of experience, she found a love and passion for the two stages of life that we cannot avoid, birth and death. These two stages must be treated with the utmost love, care, understanding and respect they deserve. For us at Cupid’s Handz, it must be memorable for everyone involved.

During the course of her career, she has had to advocate, sometimes strongly too, for her patients. Insisting that they are able to experience birth and death in a way that they can process the happiness, grief and many transitions that come with both. Transitions that require assistance with the emotions, practical decisions and being able to personally guide them.

She is excited to grow a community that truly understands, represents and speaks for those that do not have a voice or feel unheard, those that feel the pressures of motherhood and the sadness of losing a loved one.

“At the hour of death when we come face-to-face with God, we are going to be judged on love; not how much we have done, but how much love we put into the doing.” – Mother Theresa

This, is her love.
